Australia’s StayWell Hospitality Group Unveils Facelift of Park Regis Singapore

Park Regis Singapore, operated by StayWell Hospitality Group and owned by Nanshan Group Singapore, is now ready to showcase her SGD 3 million facelift. Located in the heart of the entertainment district Clarke Quay and Boat Quay, the refurbishment is headlined by a brand new executive-style reception on the third level, new dining options, Twenty3 Drink & Dine, and Royal Pavilion on the ground floor and 6-star bedding upgrade in all rooms. With a good night’s sleep a major priority for most travellers, guest rooms are also spruced-up with the luxurious new bedding, including pillows, linens and bed-toppers.

The new bedding package includes lightweight, hypoallergenic ‘micro cloud’ pillows. An extra 4 inches of comfort is added to mattresses with Simmons Beautyrest Convoluted Foam Toppers, specially designed to relieve stress, tension and pressure points. Premium 400-thread count, 100% Egyptian cotton bed linen complete the set for a sublime sleeping experience.

“The new bedding is one of our new signature experiences, assuring a wonderful night’s sleep. They really are among the most comfortable beds I have slept on,” added General Manager Jason Dowd. The facelift also unveils a new meeting room and a refurbished state-of-the-art gym. With a new alfresco terrace alongside the Singapore River, refurbished and expanded Twenty3 Drink & Dine restaurant, bar and lounge, Park Regis Singapore introduces east-meets-west dining, renowned for Australia’s all-time favourite Fish and Chips, as well as offering an international buffet breakfast. Expansion of the restaurant was facilitated by the relocation of the hotel’s reception from the ground-floor to third floor, where it is now re-styled as a welcoming executive lounge for a relaxed check-in and check-out experience.

For business or leisure functions, the new 72 sqm pillar-free meeting facility accommodates up to 50 guests, with grandstand views of Clarke Quay through floor-to-ceiling windows and built-in projector and screen for presentations. The hotel’s 202 open-concept guestrooms now come with complimentary Wi-Fi access and digital newspaper. For a better rest, the hotel is now equipped with newly-improved soundproof doors and carpets along the corridors. Rooms overlook either natural parkland, nearby entertainment hubs or the hotel’s 25-metre outdoor swimming pool and signature waterfall.

Launched with just five Australian hotels in 2006, SWHG’s portfolio has rapidly expanded internationally to 34 properties. Already one of the largest independently-owned hotel management groups in Asia Pacific, the group plans to grow to 100 hotels by 2017. Expansion is focused on South-East Asia, India, China and Europe.

Group CEO and Managing Director Simon Wan said: “In a very exciting period of growth, we are also committed to refurbishing our current portfolio, ensuring we deliver guests an exceptional experience.” “Overall, the upgrades maintain the high standards our guests expect and enhance the overall guest experience.”
