Leisure Inn Hospitality Management has formally announced the regeneration of the Leisure Inn Hotels and Suites management structure and brand with virtually an entire new management team coming on board since June 2006.

Simon Wan heads the group as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director. Mr Wan was previously the Joint CEO and MD of Tourism Travel and Hotels Limited. Prior to that, Mr. Wan was the CEO of Accor Asia Pacific for Northern Asia. Mr Wan has brought together an experienced and professional new team which includes:

Stuart Crossman - Group Operations Manager (previously of Choice Hotels, Park Plaza Marriott, Accor and Southern Pacific Hotels) Lyndall Woodberry - Group Financial Controller - Tasmania (previously of Select Managed Funds Ltd, now known as Australian Wealth Management Ltd) Maryanne McNeill - Group Sales Manager (previously of The Cambridge Park Inn and Sydney Boulevard) Rachel Pirie - Group Marketing Executive (previously of the Sydney Convention and Visitors Bureau) Patricia Leonessa - PA to CEO/Officer Manager (previously of Sky Channel)

They join established team members Elizabeth D'Esposito - Financial Controller and Ben Watiwat - Accounts Executive.

Leisure Inn Hotels and Suites Chief Executive Officer Simon Wan said the group had invested substantial funds to bolster its management infrastructure in order to provide properties under its management with the appropriate support in operations, sales and marketing and accounting services. "We are excited to take the Leisure Inn brand to the next level with a strategic plan to increase awareness of our product, to increase the size of the hotel network and to improve customer satisfaction levels".

Properties currently operating under the management of Leisure Inn Hotels and Suites are Park Regis Hotel - Sydney, The Barclay - Kings Cross, Hobart Macquarie - Hobart, Woolmers Inn - Hobart, Waterfront Lodge - Hobart, Penny Royal - Launceston and Leisure Inn Suites - Kings Cross (opening in November).
